Questions about the product?

I have used Coal Tar & Salicylic acid shampoos in the past. How is this better?

These chemicals might give results in short run, however, they can cause thinning of skin, poor hair nutrition and subsequent hair breakage and hair fall. Therefore, it is not advisable to use these chemical shampoos on a regular basis. Our shampoo contains no chemicals not even for fragrance. It is a good addition to any on going treatment.

Does it contain anything that might irritate my scalp?

Absolutely not, we are only using herbs in our product. Even for fragrance we have added essential oils made from a blend of Rosemary, Kashmir lavender, clary sage, Cedarwood, thyme, ylang ylang, peppermint, and spearmint.

Is this dermatologist recommended?

Yes, this product is approved by dermatologists. Ingredients are safe to use for Psoriasis patients and people with sensitive skin. You can use it along with any on going psoriasis treatment from any doctor.

Will it dry my hair like some other antidandruff shampoos?

No, Jojoba oil and Argan oil resemble oil produced by scalp naturally and will lock in your moisture. Mulitfloral forest honey is a natural humectant and retains moisture. Hibiscus and Aloe Vera will naturally add moisture content and glyecrol is also a humectant that locks in moisture. We have taken measures to ensure hair shaft does not dry out after using our product.

Time taken for results?

Herbal remedies may take longer to show results compared to medicated treatments. For best results we recommend using the product daily for first 2 weeks and then alternate days after that once symptoms are controlled. You are advised to use it for at least 90 days for best results.

For best results we recommend using VedicDerm Hair Serum one night prior to using the shampoo. Apply Hair serum and massage scalp at night, use psoriasis shampoo in the morning for best results.
